UMAHS Student Attends West Point Society Leadership & Ethics Conference

The West Point Society of Philadelphia Leadership and Ethics Conference was held on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Villanova University. UMAHS Junior, Alex Piscopo was selected to represent Upper Merion at the event. During the eight-hour conference, participants explored ethical issues regarding honor, respect, and leadership. The keynote speakers included Al Ponenti from the Travis Manion Foundation and Dr. Mark Doorley, Professor of Leadership and Ethics at Villanova University.  The students in attendance were broken into small work groups during the day and addressed issues related to their own communities. The event culminated with each student, and their faculty advisor, working on an action plan that can be implemented at that their home school to help bring awareness to the importance of developing good character among the student body and staff. The Travis Manion Foundation credo is "If not me, then who?" Congratulations Alex!
