Upper Merion Area Education Foundation Presents Mini-Grants

At the Nov. 5th school board meeting, Upper Merion Area Education Foundation co-presidents Eileen Ching and Heather Francis presented awards to 10 projects selected by the committee. The committee handed out a total of $8,190.22 in award money, which includes $2,000.00 in funding by the non-profit organization, King of Prussia District.

 

The recipients of the King of Prussia District grants were Mrs. Angela DellaValle for her proposal “Persistence & Grit: Motivational Talk by Nationally Recognized Sociologist and Author Dr. Ted Thornhill” and Mr. Nicholas Carullo for “xCarve 3D Design and Modeling”.

 

This year’s mini-grant awards consist of STEM projects, books, a research database, a guest speaker, and a musical instrument. You can find the full list of awardees at https://www.umasd.org/Page/143
