MS Students Win MADD Poster Concert

Pennsylvania’s Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) recently invited Upper Merion Area Middle School students to participate in a poster contest in recognition of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.

The students were asked to submit MADD posters with positive messages that emphasized the importance of making safe choices and good decisions.  A panel of judges from local law enforcement agencies and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office selected the winning poster which was designed by 6th grade students Noelle and Nicholas Micolucci.  The students, along with their parents and Middle School Principal, Mr. Adam Slavin, were invited to attend a MADD Event, held at the Middle School on April 4th, where they were awarded a gift card to Arnold’s Family Fun Center in Oaks in recognition of their artistic achievement and for bringing awareness to this extremely important cause.
