I’m honored, humbled, and privileged to be starting my eighth year as the principal of the Roberts Elementary School! At Roberts Elementary School, the teachers, staff, parents, and community members truly put kids first! 

       Prior to coming to Roberts Elementary School, I was a Spanish teacher at the Blue Mountain High School, the assistant principal for the Schuylkill Haven Area High School, and the principal for the Schuylkill Haven Area Middle School, which are all located one hour north of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. My educational background includes obtaining two Bachelor’s Degrees in World Language Education Spanish and Applied Spanish from Penn State University. During my junior year at Penn State, I had the wonderful opportunity to study abroad in Alicante, Spain and Puntarenas, Costa Rica where I lived for a total of one year in both countries with host families. Through my international experiences, I was able to become fluent in Spanish, as well as culturally versed in Spanish and Costa Rican customs. After completing my Bachelor’s Degrees, I earned a Master’s Degree in teaching and curriculum from Penn State Harrisburg and also began a Master’s Degree in Spanish literature with the St. Louis University Madrid campus. Finally, in February of 2017, I earned my Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership with Immaculata University.  On the personal side, my wife Lindsay and I have a son, Vinny, who recently celebrated his first birthday! Additionally, one fun fact about me is that I tried out for American Idol in 2004!

      I’m a very motivated and enthusiastic educational leader who believes that every child can learn and that students should always come first. I’m very excited and honored to work collaboratively with such a talented and motivated group of teachers and staff members at Roberts Elementary School. Together, we will continue to inspire excellence in our students and provide a safe and nurturing educational environment for our children each and every day.

       Again, I’m very honored to be starting my eighth year as principal of the Roberts Elementary School! I look forward to working with you and your children in the many exciting months to come!
