My name is Shannon Lotz. I have a BS in Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), a Masters in Education with a Reading Concentration from Cabrini University, and my principal certification from the University of Pennsylvania. I was honored in 2009 with Freedom Credit Union's Voices of Inspiration Award for Outstanding Teaching and was the keynote speaker at the MCIU STEM Showcase in 2018. This fall I will be an adjunct professor at Eastern University teaching Foundations in Early Childhood Education to undergraduate students (just one night a week). My husband and I live in Collegeville with our four active boys: Evan - 21 (junior at University of Pennsylvania), Brecklan - 18, Cullen - 17, and Crew - 15 (senior, junior, and sophomore at Malvern Prep). I love waterskiing, yoga, and spending time with family and friends. I have been teaching for 28 years and feel so fortunate to have a career I enjoy so much!
