The 2020-2021 school year will mark my 24th year teaching at Upper Merion Area High School. Previously, I taught at Elizabethtown High School in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania for two years.  Primarily, I instruct tenth grade English. I received my bachelors degree from University of Delaware in English Education and my masters degree from West Chester University in English. I am proud to be a co-class sponsor for the class of 2024. I also  facilitate Upper Merion's Mini-THON to raise funds for pediatric cancer, have served as a primary author/editor for the 2001 Blue Ribbon process, and was part of the Classroom for the Future initiative.  In 2014, I was honored to represent Upper Merion Area School district as a finalist for the Voices of Inspiration Award and in 2015 I received the Outstanding Service Award for the Greater Philadelphia Cappies Theater Program.  I am a Google Certified Educator Level 1,Level 2 and Trainer, Flipgrid Certified 1 and 2, and Flipgrid Ambassador.  In 2017, I represented Upper Merion Area HS as a Keystone Technology Innovator Star.
