Hello, I am excited about starting the 2024-2025 school year. I can't wait to continue and be able to make more awesome adventures with your first grader over the course of the school year! 

A little bit of background...

This will be my 10th year working for UMASD and have worked in almost every single building in multiple positions. I have earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Early Childhood Education from Temple University. From then on, I continued my education at Arcadia University where I pursued my Master's degree in Literacy Studies, with certifications in Special Education, Reading Specialist, an School Librarian. In addition, I work every year teaching in the Extended School Year (ESY) summer program right here at Gulph!

The quickest way to contact me is via email (listed above). You can expect most information from me sent this way as well, so please check daily. If it is an emergency, please call Gulph's main office number (also listed above). Although email is the best way to reach me, I do realize phone conversations are necessary at times, and are always welcomed. Please email me directly if you would like to speak over the phone and I will be happy to set that up. As you know, the school day can get very busy, therefore I will do my best to check my email throughout the day. I also send home written communication logs each day with your child about his/her day was. This log is double sided and will allow you to respond on the other side to and send back to school.

I was born and raised in Philadelphia.

My favorite food is mac and cheese.

I am a HUGE Friends (TV show) fan.

My favorite place to be is on a beach.

A life goal of mine is to write a children's book and have my sister illustrate it! 

In 2023, I was selected to be a Nouryon All Pro Teacher for the Philadelphia Eagles...GO BIRDS!!!
