Hello and welcome!  I am thrilled to begin my 7th year of teaching, and my fourth year with the Upper Merion Area School District.  Prior to becoming an educator, I was a practicing attorney.  I understand, firsthand, how important strong reading, writing, speaking, listening, and analytical skills are in people's lives and what impact these skills have on our world.  

I graduated from Temple University in 2009, where I majored in English.  While studying there, I fell in love not only with literature, but with the city of Philadelphia; I have lived there ever since.  I then graduated in 2012 from Widener University School of Law.  After 3 years of practicing, I followed my love of literature to Cabrini College, where I obtained my Masters of Education in 2015.  

Teaching is both my passion and privilege; each day brings new experiences and challenges, which I am always delighted to uncover.  I believe in fostering a welcoming environment where all students feel comfortable as well as building strong relationships with students.  I look forward to getting to know you all this year, and please visit my Schoology page for specific class information, due dates, and assignments.  Do not hestitate to contact me with any questions or concerns!
