All About Me

Welcome to fourth grade!  I'm enthusiastically ready to begin my tenth year teaching at Candlebrook & I hope you are too for the 2024-2025 school year.  I believe life is an endless and exhilarating adventure that unfolds with every step we take. Each day presents us with new paths to explore, challenges to overcome, and unforgettable experiences.  Like explorers charting unknown territories, we navigate through the highs and lows, savoring moments of triumph and learning from setbacks. We should not focus only on reaching our destinations but also on the journey itself—the people we meet, the lessons we learn, and the growth we experience. Every twist and turn adds depth to our story, weaving a tapestry of memories that define who we are. Embracing life as a journey reminds us to live boldly, embrace change, and cherish the adventure of discovering our true selves along the way.

1) Mrs. Donovan & I welcomed our firstborn, Quest, on April 4, 2023. 

2) I love being outside, whether running, hiking, or just hanging out with friends & family!

3) I have three sisters (Jennifer, Amy, & Bethany).

4) I love sports & I'm a HUGE EAGLES FAN!

5) I am a movie fanatic and always looking for something new to watch!

6) My favorite book is Out of My Mind by Sharon Draper.
