Teaching Experience: I began teaching high school science in Baltimore through Teach for America 21 years ago and have been in the classroom ever since. I have had the privilege of teaching in a wide variety of schools, including the American School of Milan in Italy and Henderson High School in West Chester, PA. This is my seventh year teaching at Upper Merion High School.
Education: In 2001, I earned a B.S. with a double major in biology as well as environmental science from the George Washington University. I then went on to earn a master's degree in secondary science education from Johns Hopkins University in 2003.
Personal: My husband, Brian, is an ESL/Spanish teacher. We have two daughters, Magdalena, who is 10 years old, and Francesca, who is 7 years old. I enjoy traveling, gardening and all things related to marine biology.
