Teaching Experience: I began teaching science in Baltimore through Teach for America 20 years ago and have been in the classroom ever since. I have had the privilege of teaching in a wide variety of schools, including the American School of Milan and Henderson High School in West Chester, PA. This is my sixth year teaching at Upper Merion High School.
Education: In 2001, I earned a B.S. with a double major in biology as well as environmental science from George Washington University. I then went on to earn a master's degree in secondary science education from Johns Hopkins University in 2003.
Personal: My husband, Brian, is an ESL/Spanish teacher. We have two daughters, Magdalena, who is 9 years old, and Francesca, who is 6 years old. I enjoy traveling, gardening and all things related to marine biology.
