I am excited to begin another year as Building Principal of Upper Merion Area Middle School.  Our district strives to offer the best education possible to our students while building character and good citizenship.  This year, we are excited to continue our VIKING VALUES MTSS-B initiative (MTSS-B - Multi-Tiered Systems of Support for Behavior), in order to educate students about specific behavioral expectations.  MTSS-B is a district-wide initiative, which exists in all of our schools, K-12.

Before coming to Upper Merion, I taught mathematics for seven years at Methacton High School.  I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Ursinus College and received my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Joseph’s University. I currently hold a K-12 Principal Certificate, and a Certificate of Curriculum and Instruction.

I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with an extremely dedicated group of individuals within a district that distinguishes itself among the best through its demonstration of excellence.  Throughout this school year I plan to attend school board meetings, activities, athletic events, committee meetings, and fundraisers where I hope to meet and build partnerships with parents and community members.  I feel privileged to be part of this community and look forward to another great year at our middle school.
