Dear Neighbor,
As a life-long member of our community, I have always felt such pride that so many of our families give back to the community by helping those less fortunate, especially when those families are going through tough times. If you’ve ever thought about a rewarding way you can contribute, please consider helping send a worthy Upper Merion student to college, by supporting the Upper Merion Area School District Scholarship Fund.
No donation is too small! In the true spirit of giving, the Scholarship Fund is building a legacy and hope you will help.
If you own a business, and want to give to your local community and receive a tax-deductible marketing benefit, consider the Scholarship Fund. Again, any donation is welcome, but, if you are able to donate at least $1,000, you can name the scholarship that will be announced during an award ceremony at the High School in June and also will be broadcast (and rebroadcast) on local cable television. For example, “The Smith Family Business Scholarship goes to Jane Doe (Student)”.
Has a loved one passed that has ties to our community? Please consider a memorial scholarship. Scholarship Fund Trustees have administered several memorial scholarships and continue to do so under the guidelines established by the family members. For example, a memorial scholarship may be awarded only to someone pursuing a degree in science.
Donating is as simple as mailing a check to:
