    Welcome to another exciting school year.  I am the High School Guidance Counselor for the Class of 2023 and the Class of 2025, students with the last names beginning with the letters A through K. I look forward to working with you this year. Although things have changed a bit and we are now virtual, be assured that I will do my best to serve each of you. This virtual world works for many of you. But for others, it is very uncomfortable and confusing. Know that we will get through it together. Please feel free to email me with questions or concerns, about anything. We can also meet via Zoom.
     
    In addition to being your guidance counselor, I am the high school's liaison for the local technical high school, The Central Montco Technical High School, and I serve on a committees with other sending school counselors. I will be planning two trips to CMTHS, one in late fall/early winter for the entire ninth grade and one in late winter/early spring for students seriously considering attending the "tech school." Stay tuned for that information.
     
    This is my 27th year as a counselor (26 for Upper Merion Area High School.) I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Kutztown University in 1991 and a Masters of Education Degree (Secondary Counseling Certification) from Gwynedd Mercy College in 1996.
