I am so excited to begin my 20th year working in the district. I spent 6 years as a Social Studies teacher at the high school and 14 years as an assistant principal. This year I am excited to be moving into my new position as Director of Athletics and Activities.
I have spent a majority of my life in the Upper Merion Area School District. I attended Bridgeport Elementary, Upper Merion Middle, and Upper Merion High School (Class of '94). I received my Bachelor's Degree from Ursinus College and my Master's Degree from Cabrini College. As a teacher at the high school, I taught a variety of courses including AP Government and Politics, Western Civilizations and Psychology.
I am a firm believer that students need to become involved in the extra curricular activities while in school. While a student at Upper Merion I participated in football and wrestling. I was also a member of the National Honor Society and Varsity Club. At Ursinus I was on the football team and the Social Sciences Honor Society. While at the high school, I coached football and wrestling and was active with the Community of Caring.
I am proud to be a part of such a wonderful staff that strives to "Be Someone's Champion" each day.
