I have been teaching social studies at Upper Merion for over 20 years. Before that, I taught 8th grade in Hanover, Pennsylvania. I graduated from York College of Pennsylvania in 2001 with a Bachelor's in Secondary Education, social studies, and Cabrini College in 2006 with a Masters in Education. Since 2005, I have sponsored the Cultural Heritage Club, served as a Community of Caring homeroom teacher, and help run Diversity Day.  I got married in the summer of 2007 and had my children, Leah, in 2008, and Ben in 2012.  We added our rescue dog, Finn, to our family in the summer of 2019 and our newest rescue, 5 1/2 year old Cooper, in the summer of 2021.  My travels have taken me as far as Italy, The Netherlands, France, Spain, China, India, Mexico and hopefully many more. I love to shop, whistle, eat, read and watch TV.  Students should always feel welcome in my classroom after school with any questions, social studies or non-social studies related.
