What Does a Speech-Language Pathologist Do? : CLICK HERE FOR PRESENTATION
Hello! My name is Ms. Schmidt and I am the Speech/Language Pathologist at Caley Elementary and Roberts Elementary Schools. During virtual instruction, I will also be seeing some students from the Middle School. The 2020-2021 school year is my 12th year with the Upper Merion Area School District. I am always available to answer any questions or address any concerns that you may have. Please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will typically respond within 24 hours.
A little bit about me… I love working with all of my students. Their stories, smiles and laughter are the best part of my job! I enjoy helping students realize that they can accomplish many things…especially those things that they may believe are too challenging for them.
I am a licensed Speech/Language Pathologist in the state of Pennsylvania. I have a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language Hearing-Association (ASHA). I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration-Management from Kutztown University, a Master of Arts Degree in Speech-Language Hearing from Temple University and a Doctorate without Dissertation in Reading/Language Arts from Temple University. I also have a Reading Specialist Certification.
I enjoy watching the Yankees, Giants, Sixers and Flyers. I also started learning to play the piano this year.
