Hi! Welcome to My Web Page!
I want to tell you a little about myself. First and foremost, I LOVE teaching kindergarten and working in the Upper Merion Area School District!
I graduated from Villanova University Magna Cum Laude and attended West Chester University where I earned my Masters in Reading.
I live with my husband, Brett and my son, Zach, who is now 19 years old and finished his first year at West Chester University in the Honors Program. Zach has volunteered at Roberts by greeting and helping families when they arrive on the kindergarten testing days since he was 12. We are so proud of our son, Zach!
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, riding my bike, baking, and playing with my kittens, Raindrop and Snowball.
I am eager to meet you and help your child become the best reader, writer, mathematician, student and friend he/she can be!
To help your child get ready for kindergarten, teach your child how to spell and write his/her first name, review all of the uppercase and lower case letter names, read Dr. Seuss books and have your child identify the rhyming words, and practice naming and counting numbers up to 20 (or beyond if your child is ready).
Right now, I am having trouble uploading the new supply list for the upcoming school year. The list has changed so please do not refer to last year's list. In the meantime, if you would like a copy, please email me and I would be happy to send you a copy. You can also find the new supply list on the Roberts Elementary home page.
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions!
I look forward to meeting you!
