Hi! Welcome to My Web Page!

I want to tell you a little about myself. First and foremost, I LOVE teaching kindergarten and working in the Upper Merion Area School District!

I graduated from Villanova University Magna Cum Laude and attended West Chester University where I earned my Masters in Reading.

I live with my husband, Brett and my son, Zach, who is now 19 years old and is beginning his 2nd year in the Honors Program at West Chester University. For many years, beginning at age 12, Zach has volunteered at Roberts by greeting and helping families when they arrive on the kindergarten testing days ... We are so proud of our son, Zach!

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, riding my bike, baking, and playing with my 2 adorable cats, Raindrop and Snowball.

I am eager to meet you and help your child become the best student and friend that he/she can be!

If you would like to help your child get ready for kindergarten, here are a few things you can do:
    1. show your child how to spell and write his/her first name
    2. review the uppercase and lower case letter names and talk about their sounds
    3. read to your child and have your child identify the words with similar beginning and ending (rhyming) sounds
    4. practice naming #0-20 and orally counting up to 20 (or beyond if your child is ready).

Please feel free to email me if you have any questions about anything!

I look forward to meeting you!
