Welcome to First Grade at Gulph Elementary!  I'm Mrs. Healy!

I started my journey in Upper Merion in the 2011-2012 school year as a student teacher at Roberts and Instructional Aide at Candlebrook.  I began as a K-4 Learning Support Teacher at Bridgeport the year after, a role that evolved into a Special Education Teacher in co-taught 3rd grade and 4th grade classrooms.  I made the switch to classroom teacher when Gulph opened, and I love it!

I earned my Bachelors in Business Administration from Temple University in 2008 and my Master of Science in Education from St. Joseph's University in 2011.  I hold certificates in K-8 Elementary Education as well as N-12 Special Education and have achieved 15+ postgraduate credits focusing on ESL, Autism, Co-teaching and Social Emotional Learning.

I live in Havertown with my husband, two children and our dog, Bert.  I enjoy reading, playing outside, trying new restaurants, drinking coffee and going down the shore.

I am so excited to meet and teach your learner. Please reach out (email is best!) with any questions or concerns.
