I've been a mathematics teacher for 23years. I've taught General Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Advanced Algebra/Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Physics, and Consumer Math. I spend extra time with students through Soccer, Chess Club, Ultimate Frisbee Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes club, and the Outdoors club.  I have a Bachelors of Education in Physics and Mathematics from Kutztown University and a Masters of Education in Administration from Temple University.

One thing you'll notice above is that I spend a ton of extra time with students....This is a clear sign that I really enjoy spending time with students.
    Math Man
I grew up in both Philadelphia (Frankford) and Oley, PA.  I spent half of my youth on a skate board.  I enjoy rock climbing, ice climbing, mountain biking, cross country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, alpine climbing, road biking, kayaking/canoeing, whitewater kayaking, and backpacking.  If it is outdoors, I'm in for it.  I'm an internationally certified rock climbing guide (AMGA SPI). If its a sport, I'm in for that too.  I don't miss an Eagles game.  Movies: luv em. I've become absorbed by Social Media...can you rescue me please.  I have 3 girls and one boy: Sarah, Rachel, Benjamin, and Leah.  My wife is still the love of my life after 18 years.  I was in the Army for 8 years: Infantry (5 years) and then the Reserve Army Band (3 years).  I play the saxophone, harmonica, drums, world percussion, and guitar.  I like to listen any type of music.  I whistle like a pro.
