As you see in some of my pictures, wearing a mask has become the new norm. Even though we will not be starting off the school year in person, my hope is to engage all students this year through our LIVE teaching during distance learning. I am certainly excited to begin a new school year at Gulph Elementary, and I am even more excited to meet all of my students during live lessons and one-on-one teaching opportunities.I have been working in the Upper Merion Area School District for 29 years. I spent 26 years teaching at Bridgeport Elementary and the past 2 years at Gulph. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education from Millersville University and my Master's Degree from Cabrini College. My husband Jack and I have 5 children ranging in age from 21 to 26. I understand what it means to have a busy life with multiple demands, especailly now. During this learning experience, parent involvement is crucial for a successful school year. I am excited to be your partner in your child's academic growth and I will work with you any way I can to ensure academic success. Fourth grade is a tremendous growing year. There is more responsibility placed on the child for completing work and staying organized, especially now during this distance learning experience. I hope to create a positive, motivating atmosphere where each and every child can feel confident to become their own unique individual. Communication is key to success. Please contact me anytime via e-mail with questions or concerns. Here's to a fantastic year in Fourth Grade!
