The 2018/2019 school year marks my seventh contracted year at Upper Merion Area Middle School. I am delighted that I have the opportunity to work in such a wonderful school district that is so dedicated to education. I will be teaching 8th grade social studies on the Andor team. Andor translates to Eagle of Thor in relation to Viking Culture. I have been part of the professional staff since 2010 in various assignments. My previous experiences include teaching 8th grade American History, 7th grade Geography, 9th grade Humanities, 11th grade American Cultures, 12th grade Government and Politics, as well as work as an instructional aide all in the Upper Merion School District! I am also the middle school varsity baseball coach, the middle school jv football coach and the middle school jv basketball coach. The best way to contact me is through my e-mail address which I check daily. I look forward to an exciting and productive school year!

Additionally I have a student teacher with me this fall from Gwynned Mercy University. His name is Will Murphy. Will recieved his bachelor degree in American Studies from Penn State University in December of 2016. Will will be with us until, December 7th. The best way to reach him about class is still through my e-mail at jcrowley@umasd.org

I received my B.A. in History and Secondary Education from Eastern University in the spring of 2010. While at Eastern I was a four year letter winner on the baseball team as well as a representative on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. I earned my M.S. in Classroom Technology at Wilkes University in 2017. I enjoy both watching and playing baseball as well as rooting on my favorite team, The New York Yankees. I also enjoy being outdoors, working on my 48 Jeep, and spending time with my family and friends.
