I attained my degrees in psychology locally -- Saint Joseph's University and Bryn Mawr College.  Since my employment at Upper Merion at the beginning of the 1999-2000 school year, I have provided psychological services at all of the district schools, with primary assignments at the High School and Caley, Candlebrook and Roberts elementary schools.  As of the 2008-09 school year, my sole assignment has been Upper Merion High School, where my main duties are to conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for special education, prepare the necessary documents that are mandated by special education regulations within specific timelines, and provide consultation to the High School's Instructional Support Team, Student Assistance Program, and Child Study Team.  As a member and representative of the Department of Student Services, I work in close collaboration with the High School special education teachers, guidance counselors, prevention counselor, school social worker, and assistant principals.  And I am available at any time to answer questions that parents may have regarding their child's special education program or possible need and eligibility for such programming.
