Welcome to my teacher page!  My name is Ed McClintic. I've been teaching social studies, science, and language arts to 6th graders for the previous eighteen years here at the middle school. I'm really looking forward to beginning my 19th year in this incredible learning environment.

I believe education is the key to success.  Therefore, I have been enrolled in some type of academic program since high school.  First, I received my Bachelor's degree from Lock Haven University in December of 1998.  I then went on to attain a Master's degree from Cabrini College in the summer of 2004.  I recently completed 15 additional credits at Immaculata University.

I was born and raised in Philadelphia, and I really enjoy cheering for the Eagles, Sixers, Phillies, and Flyers throughout the year. Additionally, I cheer for all the collegian teams too. There are so many fun and exciting things to do in and around the Philadelphia area.  I do many of these things with my wife, Carrie.  For example, we really enjoy biking and running along the Perkiomen and Valley Forge paths. Carrie and I also like to attend events affiliated with our top-notch school district.  We attend football games, school plays, talent shows, and other athletic contests to name a few.  Now, it's time to get back to work and be a wonderful role-model to a new group of 6th graders.  I'm looking forward to a great year and meeting many new students and their families.
