Hello, and welcome to my web page!  I am a graduate of Upper Merion High School.  Both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees were received from West Chester University.  This is the beginning of my 28th year in Upper Merion, and I am pleased to be teaching fifth grade mathematics on the Pathfinder Team at the middle school.  My son is currently a senior at Ursinus College.  My oldest daughter is a freshman at West Chester University's Honors College, and my youngest daughter is in 11th grade.  I enjoy living in Upper Merion because I often have the pleasure of seeing my students and their parents in the community.  I am looking forward to a wonderful year!

This will be an exciting year in fifth grade with many new challenges and adventures.  We will focus on guiding and supporting our students through a successful transition to the middle school.  By sharing and working cooperatively with each other, we believe our students will grow academically and socially.

Throughout the year, we focus on developing independent learners who assume responsibility by contributing to class activities and discussions, being prepared for class each day, and completing all assignments on time.  We work with our students to develop organizational skills and effective study skill strategies that will provide a foundation for future learning.

Mrs. Imperato, Mr. Thompson, and I look forward to having the opportunity to work with both you and your fifth grader!  Have a terrific year!
