Hello! My name is Debbie Laudermilch and I am your child's second grade teacher.  I am looking forward to sharing an exciting year with my second grade students.  I received my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Bloomsburg University. I attended Cabrini College to earn my Masters Degree in Education.  I have been happily teaching since 1997.  I have taught preschool children, remedial reading classes, kindergarten, and second grade.  I've been at Candlebrook since 1998. I currently live in Phoenixville with my husband Jim, my two sons, Nathan and Riley, my 2 dogs, Mickey and Izzy, and my 2 cats, Lucy and Gritty.

 

I believe in providing a safe, nurturing, supportive, and loving learning environment where my students feel comfortable, accepted, and happy. It is important to me that they feel like a valued part of our classroom family. I believe that children learn by example so I will be the best role model that I can be.
