Mrs. Amanda Staehle

I joined the UMAHS Counseling Department as the College & Career Counselor in November 2021. As an alumni of Upper Merion, I'm very excited to come back to the Viking Family! As the College & Career Counselor, I'm available to work with all students and families in grades 9-12. I'm able to assist students with academic and career goals for life after high school. I have seven years of counseling experience in the Upper Darby and Downingtown Area School Districts. I also coach Swimming and Diving at UMAHS.

In addition to working with students in my role as the College & Career Counselor, I serve as the Dual Enrollment Coordinator, AP Exam Coordinator, SAT Coordinator and process testing accommodation requests through CollegeBoard and ACT.
