    WELCOME TO MY CLASS!

     

    *I am so excited to be a reading specialist at Bridgeport Elementary School! I look forward to working with students in Kindergarten through 4th grade during EXCEL and guided reading time. This is my 21th year of teaching and my 17th year at Upper Merion Area School District. This is my 5th year as a reading specialist at Bridgeport. I was teaching at Upper Merion Area Middle School for 12 years before moving to Bridgeport Elementary. Before coming to Upper Merion, I taught students in a learning support classroom at Franklin Elementary in Pottstown School District for four years. I graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2001 with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. I am also certified as a Reading Specialist and in Middle School math.  I have my Master's Degree in Education from Cabrini College. I really enjoy teaching and look forward to a great school year!
     
    *When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my daughters and husband, reading and watching Philadelphia sports with my family!
