Welcome to my website! I am excited to be teaching at Upper Merion this year! It's my first year at this district, and I am teaching Math Concepts, Study Skills, and am co-teaching Algebra 1.
I have been teaching in Delaware for the past 8 years at public school districts in Southern Delaware, as well as at the University of Delaware's CLSC Program. I recieved both my Undergraduate in 2009 and Masters Degree in 2015 from the University of Delaware. Go Blue Hens! I continue my education through professional development and continuing education courses to stay on top of the changing field of education.
I love to travel, play music, and fully embrace my nerdy hobbies. I have spent time all over the world, with a session abroad in China during my Junior year in college, and trips to visit family in England, though my favorite place in the world is Puerto Rico. Before getting my Masters in Special Education, my background was music, so I enjoy playing a variety of instruments, but nowdays I mostly play piano, guitar, and bass. Other than that, I love movies and board games.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. I'm looking forward to a great first year at Upper Merion!
