  •  A Bit About Me:

My name is Mrs. Meredith Dworecki, but you may also know me as Miss Lorenz. In October 2019, I married my husband, Ben, and have officially changed my name for the new school year. Ben and I went to Upper Merion together and loved it so much we never left! Today, my husband and I still  reside in Bridgeport, PA with our three year old puppy, Milo. He is a super energetic pup that loves to play, cuddle, and cause a bit of chaos. We have a very big family that we love spending our time with. Each summer we enjoy going down the shore and hanging out with our close friends.  I love sports and used to play soccer for Upper Merion! My favorite sports teams are the Women's US Soccer Team and the Philadelphia Flyers. When I’m not teaching, spending time with family, or playing/watching sports, you can find me curled up on the couch with a good book!

    Education and Career Background:

After high school, I went on to attend Elizabethtown College located near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. In 2015, I graduated with honors from Elizabethtown College with a degree in Early Childhood Education (PK - 4) and Special Education (PK - 8). After graduating college, I taught in West Philadelphia for four years where I taught Kindergarten as well as First Grade. Last year, I had the opportunity to return to my home district and jumped at the chance! I joined the Kindergarten team at Caley Elementary School and had a blast! This year I am beyond excited to be part of the amazing First Grade team at Gulph Elementary! I am constantly looking to improve my craft, therefore I attend educational conferences and programs whenever possible. I have also taken part in many volunteer and service opportunities through KDP and other organizations. As an educator, I find it extremely important to immerse myself in experiences that will not only benefit me as a person, but will also aid me in becoming a better teacher. I cannot wait for the school year to get started!
