Please record the nightly reading in the log and sign the log. Please let me know if your child needs books from school for nightly reading.SnacktimeWe will take a daily short snack break at about 10:30. Please keep the snack small and nutritious. Please avoid sending in sweets. Some ideas are yogurt(send a spoon), fruit, raw vegetables, muffins, raisins, or crackers and cheese. Please do not send in drinks. There is a water fountain in the classroom.Supplies

We will celebrate birthdays at snack time. If you’d like to send in a healthy treat for the class on your child’s birthday, please let me know ahead of time. Sometimes there are two birthdays on the same day. There are 17 students in the class. Another idea is to donate a book or game for the classroom on your child's birthday. Your child may present it to the class on his or her birthday. You are welcome to join your child for lunch in the cafeteria on his/her birthday. Lunch begins at 12:30 and you can meet your child in the main office.
