    Folders:

Please check your child's folder every night! Important reminders will be placed inside the folder.

    Snack
Two healthy snacks should be sent each day! A water fountain is in our classroom for drinks.

    Homework

Homework will be sent home in packet form each Monday.  Your child should complete ONE PAGE of the packet each night unless otherwise marked.  Some nights there may be 2 or 3 pages depending upon the skill.  The homework will consist of reviewing sight words, math activities, various language arts activities and a writing activity.  Please encourage your child to take his/her time.  Please sign or initial your child’s homework every night.  Homework packets are due back every Friday.  Your cooperation is appreciated :)

*There are several 4-day weeks throughout the year.  On these weeks feel free to complete two pages in one night to finish the homework for the week!

*There will be some weeks that we will not send the homework journals due to a shortened week...this is usually around the Thanksgiving, winter, and spring breaks.

    Dismissal

In the afternoon we will start dismissal at 3:30pm.  If you are going to be late, please call the school office and they will notify me.  At 3:45 any remaining children will be waiting in the office.

If your child is going home a different way, you need to send in a note saying who will be picking him/her up.  Your signature will be required to ensure your child’s safety.
