DRESS GUIDELINES
Students should dress in a way that allow themselves and others to focus on learning. Dress should not be a distraction. The following clothing is not appropriate for school:
• clothing with reference to tobacco, alcohol, drugs, sex, violence, ethnic prejudice or offensive language• clothing or accessories which could cause injury to self or others
• hats and/or headgear
• mesh shirts, halter tops, muscle shirts/tank tops, tops with spaghetti straps, strapless tops
• unsuitably short, tight, transparent, immodest or cut-off clothing (no exposed cleavage, underwear, midsections; no skirts/shorts above mid-thigh)
ENFORCEMENT PLAN:
The dress code is designed to establish a standard appropriate to the seriousness of the school's purpose. Teachers will refer violations to the Assistant Principal. The student will be asked to change or spend the remainder of the day in ISS.
