UMASD is thrilled to offer a Virtual Academy to our students in grades 6 through 12.  Our Virtual Academy enables students to be full time cyber learners or to blend their educational experience by taking a few courses onsite, as well.

In both cases, students in our Virtual Academy are truly part of our Upper Merion family.  They have access to all of the academics, activities and services the school district offers, and they receive an Upper Merion Area School District diploma!

We’re able to provide this experience to our students through a partnership with Brandywine Virtual Academy.  Brandywine Virtual Academy (BVA), an initiative of the Chester County Intermediate Unit, has been a leader in cyber education for the past six years.  Every one of BVA’s teachers is highly qualified, as defined by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.  These experienced teachers facilitate a challenging, exciting curriculum for our virtual learners.

Choosing your educational journey is a complex, but exciting process.  To learn more about the Upper Merion Area Virtual Academy, please click on our power point.
