The Board of Trustees for the Upper Merion Area Educational Foundation would like to thank everyone who participated, volunteered, and/or donated to our 2018 4th Annual Viking 5k & Family Fun Run.
This was truly a community event that brought out the best in everyone. Thanks to our sponsors, local businesses and your support, we raised over $11,000, which will go directly to benefit students in all six (soon to be seven) schools of the Upper Merion Area School District!
The Viking 5k would not have been possible without our volunteers. This year, we had more than 20 high school students who helped out at the race, and they will be treated to a free “Wing Night” at Screwballs!
We also want to congratulate the winners of the classroom competitions:
- In the middle school, the winning teams are the Adventurers in the Lower House and the Seekers in the Upper House. Both teams will get an ice cream party!
- The winning elementary school class is Mrs. Beers’ 1st grade class at Roberts, who will have a cool Kona Ice party donated by Kona Ice KoP!
Visit us on Facebook to get the latest about our Foundation and fundraising events. If you are interested in joining our Board or volunteering at next year’s event, please contact Eileen Ching at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you again and Happy Spring!
