UPPER MERION AREA EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION
Mission StatementThe Upper Merion Area Educational Foundation (UMAEF) is committed to the continuing advancement of public education in the Upper Merion Area School District, by providing funds for educational programs and activities through engagement and collaboration with parents, school staff, businesses, and community members, so that every child is given the opportunity to thrive in a rigorous, engaging, and dynamic environment.
We will achieve our mission by generating independent funding and developing community partnerships to recognize and encourage student and staff innovation and excellence.
We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, funded through donations and annual fundraising events. The purpose of the Foundation is to offer grants to teachers in the Upper Merion Area School District, via an application process, that supplement as well as complement basic educational programs in the areas of Technology, Arts, Scholastic Enhancement and Cultural Enrichment.
We are looking for those in our community who are passionate about improving public schools and the education of our children. If you are interested in joining the Foundation as a board member or just want to volunteer your skills and time for specific events or activities, please contact us at UMAEFinfo@gmail.com.2020-2021 Board of Directors:
