Performers interested in Interpretation can choose from several events, including:
Dramatic Interpretation: A contestant chooses a cutting from a serious play and memorizes it. The student recreates the scene using appropriate gestures and voices.
Duo Interpretation: Two students work together to recreate a scene using appropriate gestures and voices.
Oral Interpretation of Prose or Poetry: A contestant interprets with script in hand a cutting from a short story/novel or one or more poems.
