Advanced Placement Courses

• The department offers Advanced Placement courses in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics(C).

Science Buddies Program

• High school science students work with elementary school students on several science projects throughout the year.

National Engineer week

• Physics students celebrate National engineer's week by forming an engineering company for the week that works to solve a wide range of engineering projects.

Science Competitions

• Students participate and compete in the Science Olympiad, Governor's STEM competition, and the Chief Science Offciers' program.  

BioEYES

• Biology students engage in classroom-based educational opportunities with live zebra fish.
