How To Say 'Hello' in 50+ Different Languages

This is my 27th year in the Upper Merion Area School District and my 20th year teaching English as a Second Language (ESL).  Prior to this position, I was a classroom teacher for 3rd, 4th, and 8th grades in Upper Merion.  Throughout my career I have taught students at every grade level and in many different school settings, from a boarding school in Massachusetts to a rural school in the Kalahari Desert in Botswana, Africa.

I received my Bachelor of Science in International Relations from Northern Illinois University, my elementary education certification from Drexel University, and my Master of Education from Arcadia University.  I hold certifications in Elementary Education, Reading Specialist, and English as a Second Language Specialist.

While becoming proficient in English is necessary for school success, I like to remind my students that being bilingual/multilingual is an asset.  Maintaining home languages should always be a priority!
