High school senior Elle Meade and junior Hudson Etezady joined Dr. Smith at the MCIU Legislative Breakfast in March, an annual event that brings together county education leaders and legislators to discuss key issues impacting public education. This year’s conversation centered on school funding for facilities and infrastructure.

Elle and Hudson shared what it’s like to learn in Upper Merion’s modern, future-ready learning environments and how those spaces support collaboration, creativity, and growth each day.

School Board Director Alice Hope and State Representative Tim Briggs were also in attendance to support our students and this important work.

We’re proud of how Elle and Hudson represented Upper Merion, sharing their experiences and helping give a student perspective to an important conversation.

On March 26th, UMAHS held their annual mini-THON event. The funds raised will go toward pediatric cancer patient families & research through the Four Diamonds Fund. Thank you to all of our student leaders & participants as over $35,000 was raised for this truly deserving cause! #FTK
