Dear Parents,
Welcome to Fourth Grade! We are looking forward to a year full of growth, inquiry, and excitement for your children. You can aid your child’s success by giving positive encouragement and concern.Children become better readers, speakers and listeners when those around them model those skills. Please encourage reading of all types – books, newspapers, and magazines. Discussions based on television, news accounts, or daily activities, where you ask the child to support his or her opinion, will help develop self-confidence and higher level thinking.
We ask you to provide a quiet atmosphere for homework, and encourage a responsible attitude towards the completion of assignments.
If, at any time, you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
Sincerely,Gina Folda
