Welcome to another exciting school year. I am the High School Guidance Counselor for students with the last names beginning with the letters A through D. This is my sixteenth year as a counselor for Upper Merion Area High School. I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Kutztown University in 1991 and a Masters of Education Degree (Secondary Counseling Certification) from Gwynedd Mercy College in 1996. In addition to being your guidance counselor, I am the high school's liaison for the local technical high school, The Central Montco Technical High School, and I serve on several committees there. I will be planning two trips to CMTHS, one in late fall/early winter for the entire ninth grade and one in the spring for students seriously considering attending the "tech school." Stay tuned for that information.
