Hello everyone! Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year! This year, I will be co-teaching 2 classes of Humanities English with Ms. Kilbride, as well as 1 class of 10th Grade CP English, some SAT Prep and some semester-long Instructional Support English classes. I am also the director of the spring musical. The 2011 show will be announced shortly, and more information can be found at www.underground-players.com.
This is my fifth year of teaching at Upper Merion High School. Prior to coming to Upper Merion, I spent three and a half years teaching in the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District, and before that I taught junior high school for two years in Japan. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and a Master's Degree in Intercultural Communication from Penn.
I am very excited for this school year. I can't wait to meet everyone and to work together to create a community of learners!
