 I have been teaching at Upper Merion  since 1987.  During that time I have taught  kindergarten, first, third, fourth and eighth grades .   My education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Educaton. Reading Specialist Certificate , and a Masters in Reading Education.  I have also completed the Reading Supervisory program.  In addition, I have  completed various  courses of  interest in education.  My love for learning continues and I hope to share that with your children.  I am looking forward to a fun, exciting and successful school year. 
 
First grade is a year of new experiences and growth for the children.  As they practice both at school and at home they will become more responsible and independent learners.  I am looking forward to working with you and your children as partners in education.
