I have been the Roberts Elementary librarian for ten years.
In (2007) I was chosen the "School Librarian of the Year" by State Senator Connie Williams. I was also a finalist in the Freedom Credit Union's "Voices of Inspiration in Teaching Excelllence Award" in May 2007. Rob TV was selected as a "Promising Practice" by the National Network of Partnership Schools at Johns Hopkins University. I am a 2006 Keystone Technology Integrator.
I have presented technology/library workshops at conferences all over the middle eastern coast states including KSRA, PSLA, National Network of Partnership Schools Conference, and Pete&C.
I went to undergraduate school at North Carolina State University and St. John's College in Annapolis, Md. I received a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Rhode Island. I also have a Master's Degree in Social Work and Community Planning from the University of Maryland.
I am a co-teacher/sponsor of the Roberts Reading Tournament/Reading Incentive Committee.

I am on the Roberts committee Elementary's National Network of Partnership Schools Program.
