I am one of the two reading specialists at Bridgeport Elementary School. In addition to my responsibilities as a reading specialist, I also coordinate the Title 1 math and reading program at Bridgeport. It is my pleasure to be a part of this wonderful staff at Bridgeport!
My personal goal is to help children believe in what they can accomplish. Success and positive thinking go hand-in-hand. When children are supported they will enjoy learning. My goal is to help each and every child "succeed in spite of . . ."! Every child deserves the chance to excel in life. Secondly, engaging and supporting parents of my students in their efforts to help their child succeed is another goal I've set for myself. Schools and parents must work together to ensure success for our students.
